Marlows Home and Garden Centre Sale Completes

Quintons Edwards are delighted to announce the sale of Marlows Home and Garden Centre. This Garden Centre situated on the edge of Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk has been trading for 35 years and is a well established successful business. It sells a wide range of home and garden wares to include kitchens and bathrooms plus pets and aquatics.

Brothers Michael and Philip Underwood who are both in their seventies wished to retire so instructed Quinton Edwards to negotiate the sale of their business. Micheal Underwood said Simon Quinton Smith and Rachel McMordie had done a good job and was delighted with the efficient service he received.

Marlows Home and Garden Centre has been sold to Con Mech Group Ltd. who will continue the business under the new ownership.

Another business changed hands last week when a new lease was agreed on Chilton Nursery, Chilton Cantelo in Somerset, to Global Berry soft fruit growers.

Quinton Edwards acted on behalf of Thomas Jones of Cantelo Nurseries in negotiating the lease and Mr Jones said "We are very pleased with both the service and professionalism of Quinton Edwards in securing the letting of the property.”

Chilton Nursery is a fully organic nursery with circa 7.1 acres of glass set on a 19.4 acres site with the benefit of a modern pack house and ancillary buildings and with substantial reservoirs.
